The greetings at the end of Paul’s Letter to the Romans are oftentimes overlooked - seeming at first glance to lack any applicability for today. In this sermon, Pastor John takes the time to consider these greetings and the glimpses they provide into the lives of those Paul specially recognizes. As we study these names, we realize that the church should be a diverse, unified family, an active, serving body, and a loving, caring fellowship.

Judgement is a major theme in Scripture. In this sermon, Pastor John evaluates some of the major judgments that have taken place and those that are yet to come. As we consider the coming judgement for the believer, in particular, we are challenged to evaluate how the life we are now living will impact our reward and our responsibilities in eternity.

This research reveals needs and opportunities we have to better love and serve one another as a church and also needs and opportunities we have to better love and serve our community.

The church around the world has been impacted greatly by the Coronavirus Pandemic, leaving some to wonder whether the church will survive these trying days. Romans 12:1 comes at a transition point between the doctrine taught in Romans 1-11, and the practice (or duty) of that doctrine laid out in chapters 12-16. Paul's appeal in verse 1 reveals much about how we would describe the nature of our relationship with the Lord.

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Genesis 1:27. As human beings, we have the unique privilege among God's creation of being made in the image of God. In this sermon, we'll learn to understand what this phrase means, the implications it has on our purpose and how we live, and how it impacts our understanding of the gospel.

Without the revealed Word of God, we would not know one thing about the Godhead. In this sermon, we look at the revealed Word of God: how it was given to us and preserved through the centuries, its purpose, and its power to change lives.

The role of the Holy Spirit in the Trinity can often times be one of the most difficult for us as Christians to understand. Join us in this sermon as we consider the third person of the Trinity by asking: who the Holy Spirit is, where He is located, and what He is doing in the world today?

In considering the amazing doctrine of the Trinity, we turn now to God the Son. John Chapter 5 offers a remarkable answer by Jesus to his critics pertaining to His equality with God. In this chapter, Jesus makes affirmations of equality with God, speaks to His activities of equality with God, and offers acclamations of His equality with God. In the course of this sermon you will learn practically how to answer those who reject the equality of Jesus with the Father and will marvel at His worthiness to receive our worship.
