We are so glad to have you join us! This week, Derrick talks about Jesus' return to his hometown in Nazareth and how he was rejected by the people there, despite performing miracles. He highlights three major thoughts from the scripture: rejection will be part of our lives as Christians, the word of God can offend people, and people in Jesus' family and hometown knew about him but didn't know him. We pray God encounters you wherever you're at.

We are so glad to have you join us! Tyler leads us in studying Mark 4:1-20 this week. This passage from the book of Mark tells the story of Jesus teaching a large crowd by the sea using parables, including the Parable of the Soils. The passage explains that parables are used to communicate important spiritual truths, and while they can reveal truth to believers, they can also conceal truth to unbelievers. The Parable of the Soils is about the importance of the soil in determining whether or not the seed (the word of God) will grow. Those who have spiritual ears to hear divine truth are those who want to receive and understand spiritual truth. This passage highlights the significance of the heart in understanding and accepting spiritual truth.

We are so glad to have you join us! Kelly Kinder is leading us in studying Mark 3:7-35 in today's sermon "The Jesus Circle". Jesus' first disciples were blamed for having “turned the world upside down” (Acts 17:6). Why has the American Church of the last 50 years, by most accounts, failed in its mission to impact the culture for the gospel? How could this be? And what’s gone wrong with the American Church?
