The starting point for spiritual warfare has to be a deep realization that Christ Himself is the greatest warrior and that He goes out to battle before us. Listen to this challenging message and be encouraged to step in into the battle.

We need to know who our enemy is and how dangerous he can be but we can't live in fear of him. Our hope in teaching this sermon would be that through it we can all find that middle ground. The Magi made tremendous sacrifices to engage in what the Lord was doing. What will you be willing to sacrifice this year so that you may be a part of something great?

There are places that need Christ and God wants to bring Christ there through you. Will you allow Him to birth Christ into those places through you?

So as we think about the birth of Christ and the gift that He is to us, we need to make sure that we understand what we are committing to. We all want the benefits that Christ brings to us but we aren’t always committed to sacrifice that is demanded with the gift. Let’s look at a total picture of Christ so that we know what we are signing up for when we receive the gift of Christ into our lives.

The key to being right in the center of what God is doing in His world is being filled by the Spirit and being led by the Spirit; just like Simeon. Great Christmas message to inspire us to worship no matter the circumstances.

Just as the amazing news of Jesus’ birth motivated the shepherds who found Him to tell everyone they encountered, we have the chance to share the good news of Christ with all the Lord brings our way. Will we be faithful to tell them?
