Jesus has demonstrated His power over the wind and the waves, and here, He demonstrates His power over all spiritual forces.

Continuing to give us an orderly account of the things that took place, Luke gives us a genealogy of Jesus - and while doing so reminds us of the humanity of Christ, the fact that He is fulfillment of Old Testament promises, and the divinity of Christ.
