God's power to bless is not limited by our good or adverse circumstances. He can give us peace, strength, and abundance at all times. Today, we find encouragement as Joseph thinks back on his life.

Genesis 41:42-57

Two years have passed since Joseph interpreted the dreams of his fellow inmates. Now, Pharoh needs his dream explained, and he is directed to Joseph, whose life was about to change forever! Genesis 41:1-41

Joseph had a gift. Because he kept being put in the place of leadership, that was obviously one of them. Joseph also could interpret dreams. Even though he put them into play, he didn't reap any immediate benefits from them.

Have you ever been punished for doing the right thing? If you have, you know how desperate and abandon you feel. As the story of Joseph continues, he finds himself being elevated to a place of honor, then wrongly accused of impropriety, and he suffers the consequences. Genesis 39
