  • Big Hearts, Big Gifts, Small Church
Closing our series on the gifts of the Spirit, Ian Hodgson from Mosaic Church in Basingstoke brought a message tailor made for where Trinity Life Church is right now. He shares and encourages about how God wants to enlarge our hearts and enlarge our gifts so that God is able to work through us and reach the 220,000 people living in Swindon who don’t yet know Jesus Christ for themselves.

  • Eagerly Desire Spiritual Gifts
"Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy." 1 Corinthians 14:1 (NIV)
This week, Jon continues our series on the spiritual gifts sharing how we have a biblical mandate to desire the gifts. Often people will be open-but-cautious, or else say they're seeking the giver not the gifts, but Paul's teaching doesn't allow us to accept these approaches. To truly be faithful to the Bible, we need to seek the Giver AND the gifts...

  • Worthless Without Love
Becky continues our series on spiritual gifts, looking at 1 Corinthians 13. Not just a nice passage for weddings, this chapter shows us that knowing and expressing God's kind of love is greater and more important than the gifts of the Spirit, important as they are for this time when we're waiting for Jesus to return.

  • Tools of the Trade

  • 2023 Vision: The Kingdom is at Hand

Kicking off a new year, Jon shares the vision for Trinity Life Church in 2023. God wants us to enter into the truth that the Kingdom of God is at hand, near us, and is to be our daily reality as we open our hearts to see God’s hand at work in our lives and of those around us. We are in faith for greater depths of His presence, and also for people to hear the gospel and come to faith. This is a big ask and will require courage, faith, and community!

Note: The preach this morning includes audio from Saddleback Kids’ re-telling of Peter Walking on Water.
