The shouts of Hosanna are a prayer for God to "save us." They also offer praise to the only one that can save us.

Jesus gives us a new way to understand glory and greatness.

The complaints of God's people arise out of not trusting God's promises. God redirects us to His promises.

Jesus clears the temple. In so doing He clears away man's idea that he can make salvation on his own terms. Jesus also cleans our heart of any idea that we can make our faith one of convenience.

The baptism, temptation and ministry of Christ are tied together. In seeing this we realize that for us baptism, temptation and gospel are tied together. Temptation comes to all who are baptized. Facing temptation we cling to the Gospel.

The cross not only reveals our debt, it reveals the redemptive love of God.

In the midst of confusion the disciples are told to listen to Jesus.

We grow weary, but the Lord does not. Because He doesn't grow weary He can lift us up.

As Jesus demonstrates authority, it is the unclean spirit that obeys. Do we respect and obey Christ's authority?
