The Lord opened the eyes of the disciples to see and understand. At the right time, the Lord opens our eyes to see and understand.

Easter comes this year without all of the trimming. It still comes with hope. It is hope found in the resurrection.

Jesus finished what sinful man could not.

In our longing to celebrate the Lord's Supper we are prepared for His eternal banquet.

The shouts of the crowd on Palm Sunday join with the shouts of the crowd on Good Friday. In order for Jesus to answer "Hosanna (Save us)" he must be crucified.

Jesus doesn't respond as expected, He responds to each of us according to our need.

Jesus answers the disciples question of "Why?". As he does this He answers our question of "Why?" He reminds us that the answer is found in turning to Him, not turning toward ourselves.

The way that Jesus treats the Samaritan woman at the well, is an example of truly loving our neighbor. It is also a reminder of the way that our Lord loves us.

God gives us a faith that is not idle.

Satan always attacks the truth.
