In our sermon we will continue to hear of Peter's warning and denunciation of false teachers. Such warnings are designed to protect Christ's sheep from error as well as to cause them to be all the more diligent to make their calling and election sure.

Stephen Byrd will continue his Sunday school series by discussing the mission of Christ and how it is continued by his Spirit in the church.

Our summer intern Stephen Byrd leads us in worship, preaching from 1 Thessalonians 2, where the apostle Paul recounts how he conducted his ministry among the Thessalonians during his brief time with them.

We will continue our Sunday school series on Missions as we consider the mission of our Lord Jesus Christ during his earthly ministry and how it is continued in the mission of the Holy Spirit whom he has sent from heaven.

Our summer intern Stephen Byrd will begin a sermon series in 1 Thessalonians 1 where Paul gives thanks to God for the Thessalonian church to build them up in confidence of their election in the midst of great suffering.

We will continue our Sunday school series on the topic of missions where we will trace the Old Testament origins of God's mission to the world.

In our sermon Peter will denounce his false teacher opponents for their perverting the way of truth and leading others astray.

Our summer intern Stephen Byrd will begin a new Sunday school series on the topic of missions. We encourage you all to attend to give him an opportunity to hone and refine his gifts for future ministry in the Church.

In our sermon Peter retraces a history of God's acts of judgment upon sinners and deliverance of the godly as sure proof that He knows how to rescue the godly from trials and keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment.
