In our time of Sunday school we will consider the Day of Pentecost and its significance for the mission of the Church.

Our summer intern Stephen Byrd will continue his series in I Thessalonians as we consider Paul's exhortations in chapter 4, learning that it is God's will for us to be sanctified.

Our summer intern Stephen Byrd continues his Sunday school series on missions as he wraps up the sending orders of our Lord Jesus Christ to his apostles and transitions to the mission of the Spirit in the church.

In our sermon we will continue to hear of Peter's warning and denunciation of false teachers. Such warnings are designed to protect Christ's sheep from error as well as to cause them to be all the more diligent to make their calling and election sure.

Our summer intern Stephen Byrd leads us in worship, preaching from 1 Thessalonians 2, where the apostle Paul recounts how he conducted his ministry among the Thessalonians during his brief time with them.

We will continue our Sunday school series on Missions as we consider the mission of our Lord Jesus Christ during his earthly ministry and how it is continued in the mission of the Holy Spirit whom he has sent from heaven.

Our summer intern Stephen Byrd will begin a sermon series in 1 Thessalonians 1 where Paul gives thanks to God for the Thessalonian church to build them up in confidence of their election in the midst of great suffering.
