The season of Advent begins this week and we're off on the journey to Christmas. Our worship series is called "Prepare." It is an invitation to spiritually prepare for God's ultimate inbreaking into the world in Jesus.
This week is "Keep Awake" and is an invitation to stay awake as we wait for and recognize God's inbreaking. Where do you see it? In the headlines? In the community? In the world? 

This Sunday marks the end of the Christian year. In a sense, it is like New Year's Eve for the church, and New Year's is often the time when we reflect on what we want to do differently in our lives. 
A good place to start that reflection is by listening once again to what Jesus says is most important. Join us in this podcast as we explore one of Jesus' last teachings and the story of the sheep and the goats.

We have so much to offer the world in Jesus Christ. God has blessed us beyond measure with things like love, grace, forgiveness, etc. Why would we want to bury it and not make it multiply in the world?

From when I was a Boy Scout, I have always remembered the scout motto: "Be Prepared." That's what comes to mind as we read the last three parables Jesus tells as Matthew records them in his Gospel. Why would these be Jesus' last parables? And what does that teach us as we head toward the Advent season? Let's explore how to "Be Prepared."

All Saints' is one of the high celebrations for the Christian Church. It is an opportunity to give thanks to God for the lives of those who have meant so much to us and are no longer in this life. And it provides an opportunity for their lives and example to impact the way we live our lives.

We all need healing from a variety of things from physical to emotional to spiritual realities. One thing that can impact all areas of our lives is when we are carrying the weight of brokenness in our relationships with each other and with God. This week's installment in our "Creed: I Believe" series is "I Believe in the Forgiveness of Sin." Healing is possible. Let's talk about it.
