Our series "Questions Our Kids Ask, But We All Want To Know" continues this week with the question from one of our Trinity children, "Is Jesus an Alien?"

We take a deeper dive into this child's question, which helps us understand that they were trying to figure out how Jesus appears and disappears - how Jesus can be completely a man and at the same time completely God- and how God be in the form of a human. These are great theological questions even I continue to wonder about and explore. Let's look into these questions together on this Sunday's podcast.

Why is the sky blue? Why do I need to eat my vegetables? Why do people get sick? Why do we have two eyes yet only see one thing? Why? Why? Why? From a very young age, kids are filled with many questions. Some are serious. Some are funny. Some are easily answered, and some leave us flustered. They aren't afraid to ask the tough questions though, and often their questions have a way of teaching us.

In this episode, we will be launching a new sermon series called "Questions our Kids Ask, But We All Want To Know." In this series, we will be exploring some of the questions that we have heard from our kids at Trinity and how they can teach us more about our faith. Join us as we visit the story of Jesus turning water into wine, which prompted our preschoolers to ask - Can Jesus come to our class and make us more Kool-Aid?

Our Lenten Series, Learning To Live Inside Out takes us on the important journey of INWARD self-examination & reflection, but also has us considering the OUTWARD state of our souls as we walk about in the world. Week #1 is called “If You Fall Down.”  Scripture Reference = Matthew 4:1-11.

Last Episode we began the journey of the Lenten season and were reminded of the saying, “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” 

This episode we explore ways in which God leads us to move. For Abram that meant leaving his home and going to a new place.  For Nicodemus it meant moving from one mindset to another.  What is required for you?

This rounds off our Hearts on Fire series focused on what we United Methodists uniquely bring to the Christian family through our Wesleyan heritage. In these six episodes our primary focus has been on grace. But, this episode we are reminded that John and Charles Wesley were also very accomplished musicians who prolifically wrote thousands of hymns. They understood that "singing our faith" helps grow our faith. 

Join in as we "sing our faith" and dig into the theology found in our Wesley hymns.

For more than 80 years researchers at Harvard University have been studying the keys to happiness and fulfillment. What did they find? No factor contributed more to happiness than good relationships with others. This shouldn't be surprising given the fact that we hear Jesus in Scripture speak of the importance of being in relationship with one another. This Sunday we explore how relationships can help us grow in our faith and in love and how they help us to live into who God intends us to be.
