  • Presence is What Heals Shame
When we forget the character of God, we soon forget who we are. When we forget who we are, we live in shame. Whether it is for what we have done, what has been done to us or what has been done around us, shame is what happens when we forget that Yahweh is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love, He forgives sins and rebellion and remains faithful to generations.
Yahweh responds to us when we are riddled with shame by being present with us. He reminds us that He knows us and we are familiar with his kindness from times past and promises to be with us.
