  • 🍄🌈 Solo Tripping in Joshua Tree 🍄🌈 (Story Time with Kat #6)

One of my recent mushroom experiences in Joshua Tree was nothing short of the name -- magic. ✨

I had a mystical experience. I contemplated the nature of reality. I tapped into deep emotional feelings of unity and connectivity. It was everything I could have asked for and more.

I hope this video is illuminating to those that are still skeptical about psychedelics. I am in no way promoting people run out and get their hands on these substances but merely think about them more deeply.

  • Ep #15 - Psychedelics, Awakening, and Aliens, oh my! With guests Zach & Sandra Walker (Lord Bazel)

Zach & Sandra Walker, the dynamic duo behind psychedelic jewelry and apparel brand, Lord Bazel, was an absolute blast to have on the show.

This convo is like none other I've recorded yet on TRIP ON THIS. Yes we talk about psychedelics, their experiences, and why we think psychedelic use tripled in 2020, but we also get into some deeper topics around spirituality, energy, and oh yes -- even aliens. 👽😏

About Lord Bazel: Celebrating our innate creativity and the stories that shape us, Lord Bazel is a fashion brand expressing the power of our mind to manifest our reality. Lead by husband-wife duo Zachary and Sandra Walker, each piece is a reminder to expand your mind and style and contribute to the conversation around psychedelics and their needed expansion in our society.

  • Ep#14 - Microdosing vs Macrodosing, Psychedelic Legislation & More with Shelby Hartman (Co-Founder of DoubleBlindMag)

I remember when DoubleBlind first came across my radar. I was struck by the beautiful balance of what I'd call true psychedelic culture, while also being an objective, fact-based journalistic outfit covering a wide range of topics within the psychedelic renaissance. From psychedelic legislation, to Ayahuasca tourism, to good ol' fashioned "trip" tips, DoubleBlind is a wealth of psychedelic knowledge.

And so was my guest Shelby Hartman. The Co-Founder and CEO of Double Blind. In this episode, we cover everything from microdosing vs macrodosing, decriminalization and legalization, to Shelby's own personal experiences with plant medicine. A great balance of personal insights and fact-based information, this episode is not to be missed!

About Shelby: Shelby Hartman is the co-founder and CEO of DoubleBlind, a media company and education platform at the forefront of the rapidly growing psychedelic movement. Also a reporter and editor specializing in psychedelics, cannabis, drug policy, and mental health, her work has appeared in VICE, Quartz, the Huffington Post, and Rolling Stone, among others.

  • Ep #13 - Guest: Sam Krumrine - Conscious Awareness and the Psychedelic Experience

There's a reason I chose this episode to come out the week of my birthday. It's one of my favorite eps I've recorded so far. It's deep, it's meaningful, and filled with invaluable nuggets whether you've had a psychedelic trip or not. I owe a debt of gratitude to my friend Sam Krumrine for gracing the mic with his poetic words. ✨

We not only talk about the psychedelic experience but really dive into the deeper spaces of what it means to be human. There are so many invaluable takeaways in this episode.

About Sam: Sam Krumrine is an LA-based actor, singer, and writer. He stands for love, forgiveness, unity, and the freedom of authentic expression. He's a passionate lover of Mama Nature and is currently traveling the southwest in a camper with his partner. He's traveled the world performing and teaching with the Young Americans. For recent works, see him in the film "Dead In The Water", which premiered on the new Lifetime Movie Club app. Keep an eye out for two upcoming releases on his self-produced film "Burn My Money" out May 2021 and a film called "Kill A Prophet" releasing October 2021.

  • Ayahuasca Journey in LA - Prep, Ceremony, & Integration (Story Time with Kat #4)

Ayahuasca. Wowie. Let's start there. In this video, I talk about my first Ayahuasca experience that I had back in 2018 here in Los Angeles. I know, I know -- probably more of a Ayahuasca starter pack but that didn't change the profound experience I had.

The experience was nothing short of transformative and was a big part of this journey I find myself on now with Trip On This. During this vid, I talk about how it came up, the process ahead of time, the actual experience, and the integration after the ceremony.

Hope this story is helpful for those interested in their own exploration or just wanting to learn more about it. ✨

  • Ep #12 - Guest: Joe Cole - Festival Culture & the Importance of Play as an Adult

I LOVE music festivals. And I'm not shy about it. Neither is my guest, Joe Cole, who has averaged 15 festivals per year since 2010 (sans 2020, of course). It's all about the energy, the creativity, the music, the community, and just the outright FUN. There's no wonder in 2019, an estimated 30 million people attended a major festival in just the U.S. alone.

If you're interested in learning more about the types of festivals there are, why they keep drawing people like Joe and I back year after year, and want to take a trip down memory lane on some of our favorite festival moments, this is the episode for you!

If you enjoy the episode, be sure to like, subscribe and share with friends!

About Joe: Joe Cole is a creative strategist, artist, dance music enthusiast, Burner, reader, traveler (never a tourist), and most of my days are good hair days. His artist ethos is "Inspire joy" and his life motto is "Risk everything." He's trying to figure out what's next for him while touring the country in a campervan. It almost never rains on him and he has an award-winning guacamole recipe.

  • First Time Tripping As An Adult (Story Time with Kat #3)

It wasn't until 15 years after my first mushroom experience at 16 did I embark on my second psychedelic trip as an adult.

The experience was beautiful but also exhausting at times. The overwhelming nature of psilocybin can be quite real, especially if you're new to it. I happened to have a sizable amount for this experience (half an 8th) for someone for all intents and purposes was basically brand new to all this.

In hindsight, I realize I needed to work through some healing, some self-realization, and some energetic work to get to a place where Magic Mushrooms could finally be genuinely FUN. But it takes work on that soul level to first clear yourself of some of those self-limiting beliefs that keep us down. That keep us small. That keep us controlled.

I hope you enjoy this story!

  • Ep #11 - Guest: Lauren Bable // Psychedelics & Getting to the Root of Trauma

The lovely Lauren Bable is this week's guest on TRIP ON THIS. In this episode, Lauren shares her story about navigating some difficult experiences when she first moved to LA from Australia, followed by a major health scare when she learned she had a brain tumor five years ago.

Though thankfully physically recovered now, those who have dealt with any serious health scares or trauma know the feelings that come with those events can stay long after the experience is over.

Lauren discusses how her recent psychedelic trips were life changing experiences for her and has brought a whole new level of clarity and ACTION to her healing journey.

  • A Comical Story About What NOT To Do For Your First Magic Mushroom Experience (Story Time with Kat #2)

If there was a handbook for what not to do on your first psilocybin (magic mushrooms) journey at age 16, that’s what I did. 😂 Good lord!

This is a great video for what NOT to do on your first psychedelic journey but there are so many good tips in it.

Needless to say, we got back on the train, folks. 😉🍄🌈✨
