In this episode we grapple with the question: If you could become immortal on the condition you would never be able to die or kill yourself, would you choose immortality?
We discuss the issues and implications of opting to be immortal, such as the nature of personality over time. We then consult the viewpoints of philosophers and thinkers, such as the Anthropologist Ernest Becker. We conclude the episode with a discussion on modern-day technological attempts to achieve immortality.
