It's not even summer yet, but the Bay Area is already feeling the heat! As KCBS Radio's Matt Bigler reports from Concord, an early-season heat wave is about to grip the region, with temperatures soaring into the triple digits in some inland areas.

Most neighbors of a 179-unit affordable housing project under construction in unincorporated Redwood City are back in their homes after yesterday's massive eight-alarm fire. The massive $155 million dollar development is a total loss, leaving officials to figure out how to get back on track. More from KCBS Radio reporter Holly Quan. 

Riding a four-game win streak, the Oakland Ballers will play in their highly anticipated home opener today. KCBS Radio's Mike DeWald reports from Raimondi Park in West Oakland, where a sell-out crowd of more than 4,000 will greet the team.
