Jonathan: Santa got me a Steam Deck for Christmas (thanks Mom and Dad), so I've been playing Valkyria Chronicles 4. It's an older game, but it's a lot of fun. I've always been into strategy games, and it's given me something to do during long plane rides to and from seeing my extended family.

Jonathan: I've been working a lot more on the short's animations for our YouTube channel (subtle plug). Drawing is something I wouldn't consider myself very good at, but it's rewarding to gradually make progress.

• I'd like to introduce our very first guest star, Kaylee, to the show! Kaylee is a long-time friend and has lots of gripes about Mary Sue's in fiction. Buckle up, it's gonna be a rant!

A.I. Girlfriend Sci-Fi Action Movie

• Last week the A.I. Girlfriend was scary...this week, she aids our protagonist against the evil galactic empire! Or something of that nature.
• It's a science fiction movie and it has something to do with A.I. girlfriend. Should be entertaining...hopefully.

Horse Girl Stuff

• In reference to a prior episode, Stuart decided to give Umamusume (the horse girl game) a shot, and he's going to share his opinions with the rest of the Triple Rant cast.

I've been doing a lot of drawing recently. I bought a few anatomy books and have been plugging away trying to learn how to draw heads and hands. It ain't much, but its honest work.

What're You Watching or Playing?

Mitch, is traditionally known in our group of friends for not liking first-person video games (he gets motion sick), but he finally downloaded Overwatch 2 and we've all be playing together.

Are we any good? Well, that's debatable, but at least we're having fun. For those of your wondering, Stuart is a filthy Junkrat main.

Also, I (Jonathan) have been watching the finale of My Hero Academia with my wife. I'm a filthy manga reader, so I already know the ending, but we've really been enjoying it.

Also, also, you may be wondering where episode 10 is??? Well, I ended up doing a topic all about cave-diving and diving-related deaths and let's just say it turned the podcast into a real bummer. We decided to shelve that episode, but maybe someday we'll release the secret episode 10 for your listening displeasure, ooooooh.

What am I currently playing?

Jonathan: I've had my eyes on a game called Void Stranger for quite some time now and finally decided to take the plunge. It's weird, its hipster, everything is in black and white...I love it. Can't honestly say I'm the biggest fan of all the block and logic puzzles, but it's fun to exercise your brain a bit and those "aha!" moment when you finally solve a puzzle are really satisfying. It's on Steam for about $12 if you wanna try it out.

Waifus and Husbandos! Harmless fun or problematic? Definitely problematic, but it should still be a fun show!

Jonathan: I'm currently re-reading Billy Graham's autobiography, Just as I Am. He was a pastor from North Carolina who preached all over the world. It's a pretty incredible book and definitely recommend giving it a read.
