  • 134: 2026 Men's Water Polo Preview
    Two shows dropping in one day! On episode 134 of Tritoncast, we’ll preview the men’s water polo season with head coach Matt Ustaszewski. We’ll look ahead to the 2026 season which gets underway this weekend in La Jolla with annual the Triton Invitational. We’ll talk about that prestigious event, recount the team’s trip to Croatia over the summer, and look ahead to the national championship in December at Canyonview Aquatic Center.

  • 133: 2026 Women's Volleyball Preview
    We are previewing the UC San Diego women's volleyball season with new head coach Spencer McLachlin on episode 133 of Tritoncast. The new season gets underway this week in the Bay Area. He fills us in on how the newcomers have been integrated, how the returners have adapted to the new staff, and what we can look forward to when the Tritons finally step inside LionTree Arena one month from now.

The women’s team is unbeaten in its last three matches. And on the men’s side – it was a record-setting start.   • 130: West Coast Conference Commissioner Stu Jackson
    One year from now, a new era begins for UC San Diego as the Tritons join the West Coast Conference. On episode 130 of Tritoncast, we sit down with WCC Commissioner Stu Jackson. We’ll get into the Tritons’ move to the WCC on July 1, 2027 and why UC San Diego was such a perfect fit for the conference. We'll chat about how his role has evolved with so much change in college athletics in recent years and get his thoughts on the NCAA Tournament expansion to 76 teams. We’ll also explore his time at the Big East and working for David Stern at the NBA, and what it was like starting an NBA franchise north of the border in Vancouver. Stu also reflects on an all-star staff he assembled for a March Madness run when he was head coach at Wisconsin.
