Today's message, called "Stuck Between the Past and the Promise," focused mostly on Joshua 1:1-9.
Your life is larger than what you are living right now. Joshua was stuck in a place where he was mourning over the death of Moses. He was stuck in a place that was no longer part of his future. Similarly, some believers are stuck in a past that is no longer serving them, and that has run its course. Believers are stuck in the lingering memories of a past that still impacts them, even though that past is over. It is time to arise and go forward! Don't rest, press!
Sometimes we come to a pivot point, an inflection point, a place of change, where God has already ordered a shift! There is a shift in your favor, if you choose to position yourself, adjust, calibrate, and arise and go forward, just as Joshua did.
Joshua had to pivot. He had to shift. He had to arise and go! This message provides instructions on how to do just that.
It looked like bad timing because Joshua was instructed to move at a time when the Jordan River was in flood stage! But Joshua discovered exactly what God is seeking to teach you in this message: If you are willing to set your affection on things above, if you are willing to have an expectation of God's best unfolding in your life, if you are willing to make faith moves, GOD IS GOING TO WORK A MIRACLE AND CONFIRM HIS PRESENCE IN YOUR LIFE AND CIRCUMSTANCES WITH SIGNS AND WONDERS IN YOUR MIDST!

God is doing something new! God is shifting and rearranging things in your favor. We are in a pivotal place and change is upon us. But what if you are having difficulty receiving this truth, based on things that have happened in your life? What if you are concerned about your future? This message addresses those issues and provides instructions on what to do. A change in focus is necessary. Focus on the present. Focus on the Present (as in gift). Focus on the Pre-Sent One. Then, make sure you don't demean yourself or what you currently have. Little is much when God is in it! God will use what is within your reach to pull off the pivot! That's why God asked Moses, "What is in your hand?" There is so much more in this teaching.

This message, titled "Uprooting Unbelief," focused primarily on Mark 9:14-27. God is doing something new! God is shifting and rearranging things in your favor. Things are pivoting from a negative direction to a positive direction. We are in a pivotal place and change is upon us.Expect a shift in your finances, employment, physical body, community, etc. It may be that your current circumstances don't look anything like what God promised but don't allow current circumstances to erode your faith. That's just where the enemy wants you.
Do not allow yourself to get upset and angry with God. Do not allow your heart to fret against the Lord (Prov. 19:3). That is actually a form of unbelief. This teaching provides needed instruction on how to get out of unbelief.
In Mark 9, when the father of the demon-possessed boy brought the boy to Jesus, you will notice that Jesus did not immediately help the boy. Jesus carried on a lengthy conversation with the boy's father, even while the boy was acting out! Why didn't Jesus just immediately cast the demon out of the boy? What was going on? You have to listen to this teaching. You will see how Jesus addressed both issues, starting with the issue of unbelief. I believe this message will certainly help you.
