Story Transcript:

Sl: Triglavski narodni park je v zimskem času čudovita, a neizprosna pokrajina.
En: Triglavski narodni park is a beautiful yet unforgiving landscape in the winter.

Sl: Snežene vrhove in doline ovija bela odeja, gozdovi šumijo pod težo snega, leden zrak pikasti obraze pohodnikov.
En: Snow-covered peaks and valleys are wrapped in a white blanket, forests rustle under the weight of the snow, and the icy air stings the faces of hikers.

Sl: V te razmere se odpravljata Anže in Katarina.
En: Anže and Katarina are setting out into these conditions.

Sl: Anže je izkušen planinec, človek, ki obožuje naravo, a išče mir po nedavni osebni izgubi.
En: Anže is an experienced mountaineer, a person who loves nature and is seeking peace after a recent personal loss.

Sl: Katarina pa je njegova zvesta prijateljica, ki želi dvigniti njegovo razpoloženje.
En: Katarina, however, is his loyal friend who wishes to lift his spirits.

Sl: "Triglav je čudovit pozimi, kajne?
En: "Triglav is beautiful in the winter, isn't it?"

Sl: " reče Katarina medtem ko korakajo po zasneženi poti.
En: Katarina says as they tread along the snowy path.

Sl: Anže se nasmehne, a v njegovih očeh je videti žalost.
En: Anže smiles, but sadness is visible in his eyes.

Sl: "S tako lepoto pride tudi nevarnost," odgovori Anže.
En: "With such beauty comes danger," Anže replies.

Sl: "Zaradi tega se moramo paziti.
En: "That's why we must be careful."

Sl: "Veter nosi hladne kristale snega, ki padajo z neba.
En: The wind carries cold snow crystals falling from the sky.

Sl: Katarina kljubuje mrazu s svojim vedrim nasmehom.
En: Katarina defies the cold with her cheerful smile.

Sl: Navdušenje vsebuje v vsakem njenem koraku, medtem ko se podajata višje v planine.
En: Enthusiasm fills every step she takes as they venture higher into the mountains.

Sl: A vreme se hitro spreminja, oblaki se zgrinjajo in narava postaja vse bolj sovražna.
En: But the weather quickly changes, clouds gather, and nature becomes increasingly hostile.

Sl: Nenadoma se začne snežna nevihta.
En: Suddenly, a snowstorm begins.

Sl: Vetrovno je, sneg jim zavira vidljivost.
En: It is windy, and the snow hinders their visibility.

Sl: Idrija je zasnežena in svet se zdi zavit v belo meglo.
En: Idrija is snow-covered, and the world seems enveloped in a white mist.

Sl: Katarina in Anže brez besed pospešita korake, a beseda ni potrebna, ko sta uglašena.
En: Katarina and Anže quicken their pace without words, but words are unnecessary when they are in tune with each other.

Sl: "Ustavimo se tamle," reče Anže, ko opazi skalni previs, zavetje pred neurjem.
En: "Let's stop over there," says Anže, noticing a rocky overhang, a shelter from the storm.

Sl: Skrčita se skupaj pod skalni šotor in Katarina potrpežljivo stisne Anžetovo roko.
En: They huddle together under the rocky shelter, and Katarina patiently squeezes Anže's hand.

Sl: "Hvala, ker si tukaj z menoj," izreče Anže nenadoma, njegova glasnost premaga grgrajoči veter.
En: "Thank you for being here with me," Anže suddenly says, his voice overcoming the roaring wind.

Sl: To ni le hvaležnost za fizično bližino, ampak tudi za čustveno oporo, ki jo je Katarina nudila v teh težkih časih.
En: It's not just gratitude for physical closeness, but also for the emotional support Katarina has provided during these difficult times.

Sl: "Vedno bova tu drug za drugega," odgovori Katarina nežno.
En: "We'll always be here for each other," Katarina gently responds.

Sl: Tista preprosta zagotovitva prodre v Anžetjevo srce, topijo led, ki ga je že dolgo čutil v sebi.
