Let’s roll back time and sit within the moment…

A dimly lit room.

The soft whispers of voices

trying to understand

the magnitude of the moment.

The air is thick with sadness.

Grief ran deep

within the soul.

Anger for

not doing more.

Lost in

great sorrow,

haunted by thoughts:

It should have been me.

We let Him down…

How does He still love me?

I don’t understand.

Bewildered.

Confused.

Sitting in the dimly lit room,

my heart breaking,

my soul in distress,

hungry for Him

to walk back through the door.

Praying for His return.

Waiting for a miracle.

Then suddenly—

astonished when He appeared,

in awe of His presence,

overwhelmed by a love

that could not be contained.

Beloved , Let me be your hands and feet....

Women in the Bible Series — Built With Songs From the Heart

The Hidden Thread was born from a desire to look deeper into the women of long ago — not just their names in Scripture, but the strength, courage, wisdom, faith, and love they carried within them.

Sometimes history remembers the story… but forgets the heart behind it.

This series is my way of trying to give them a face… to truly see them.

Beginning on the 15th of each month, one woman’s story will unfold through song — a reminder that strength, resilience, grace, and faith are timeless threads woven through all of humanity.

And maybe… somewhere within their stories, we find pieces of ourselves too.
