But, they have awoken the high elven general, Vadathas, who died long ago and has been sustained by his hatred for humanity and the dragon. He interrogates the party, and Evan mistakenly admits they are here to seek the hammer for Hyseld, to which the High Elven General becomes enraged, raises his minions, and the session begins with the party entering combat. With a foe unlike any other, will the party survive this encounter!?

Returning from Massarnae, the trip has left the party concerned and begrudged. Undead that were not "undead" through normal necromancy, a secret criminal organization using a flurry of inns as a front for their mob activities, and a distinct sense of apathy from the local guards, there was much about the town that felt... off... On the way back to Dragon's Head, the members encountered a massive golden lizard. Curious and determined, the party returned the town's founding document and left again to track it down but, within its lair the party is not prepared for what they discover...
