Tropical Heat

It's been a few months since I released a mix. Back this month with some of the biggest Lovers Rock anthems from the past year as well as a few throwback favorites. All sweet tunes to get you in the mood for Valentine's Day.

Things are also starting to heat up in Trinidad for Carnival season, so look out for my 2019 Soca mix to drop next month.

Some brand new heat covering Afrobeat, Dancehall, Soca, and Hip Hop. Plus some fire remixes. Don't forget to follow/subscribe to stay up to date on future episodes.

Something for the Dancehall heads, a mix of current, past, and future hits, plus some exclusive dubplates. If you like the vibes, be sure to check the first Pure Dancehall mix as well, and don't forget to follow/subscribe on your preferred platform (Itunes/IOS, Google/Android, or Spotify). Give thanks for the support.

Recording of the first half of my afternoon set at the Propa Vibe$ Pool Party earlier this month in Bali.

Summer is here (for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere anyways), and the warm weather is a perfect fit for the current crop of Caribbean infused Pop music. Pop has long "borrowed" from genres like Dancehall, Soca, & Reggaeton, and many Caribbean artists have likewise adapted their sound to appeal to the international market. So here is a mix of Pop hits, crossover tunes, collabs, and remixes as well as some Dancehall & Soca bangers to keep you popping this summer.

After taking last month off, I am back with a mix of some Reggae & Afrobeat tunes that I have had on heavy rotation lately. Including some selections from Kabaka Pyramid & Burna Boy's new albums, a reggae-pop tune from Ed Sheeran & N.E.R.D., plus a few choice ganja anthems. I have also switched hosts so make sure you are subscribed to the new feed at http://strictlyblazin.blubrry.net/feed/podcast/ so that you don't miss future episodes.

Decided to do a throwback Reggae riddim mix this month of the classic Shanty Town version. The original tune was sung by Desmond Dekker 50 years ago and is still sounding fresh as ever.
