HRV's Jason Bonnington joins Nadia Horne on Winners, to give a preview of the trots weekend racing at Melton.

Nadia Horne is joined on #RSN927am Winners by Daryl Hill the trainer of Jacks Command. The five-year-old gelding will contest the Melton Pools and Spas Pace Final on Saturday night at Tabcorp Park Melton, having come on in leaps and bounds after plenty of patience from owner/trainer Daryl Hill.

And Peter Lamond is manager of Restrepo's ownership syndicate. The eight-year-old hasn't raced since February 7, 2015, after fracturing a knee in work. He was sent to stud while he recovered and now returns Saturday night to the joy of his owners. Restrepo won the 2013 Group 1 Coca Cola Sprint, the 2014 Ballarat Cup and 2015 Hamilton Cup in addition to finishing fifth in the 2015 Inter Dominion, which saw him amass more than $500k. He returns in the VHRSC Classic, where he has drawn the poll and will go up against Ohoka Punter, Messini and Flaming Flutter among others.

Andy Gath has a host of runners on Saturday night, but in particular has Glenferrie Typhoon returning. His last start was the Great Southern Star when he ran a brilliant second to Speeding Spur, all done while carrying a massive bladder stone that was later removed. He returns against mighty Keystone Del in the Group 3 True Roman Trotters Free For All.
