In this conversation Troy brings his younger brother on to the podcast to have an in depth conversation about what it was like struggling through school as a kid with ADHD all the way through the process of learning how to succeed and even use ADHD as the fuel that powers their success.
Both Troy and Cody are DSM-5 diagnosable with ADHD. Troy is a certified School Psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and works as a Program Director of Special Education in a school district. Cody is an MRI Technician, Chicken Farmer, and successful cyclist and Triathlete among many other things. Both men are fathers and husbands.
This podcast was truly a blast for me (Troy) to record. This is a conversation that I've been excited to have with Cody for a long time. Do not miss this conversation. There is a great deal of fact and recourses that are shared from the perspective of a school psychologist and from both men who have learned, through experience, how to manage and thrive through ADHD.

Welcome to the first episode of the Troy Beyer podcast. Troy will continue to focus on restoring manhood but is transitioning the podcast to an interview format. Instead of Troy being the only one talking he will be bringing on wise and powerful people to talk about what it takes to be a man today, current events, and whatever else he wants to talk about.
Today's interview is with a truly powerful man who recently has stepped out in faith to do something many men wish they had the guts to do. He took Noah's lead and listened to God in doing something that many thought he was crazy for doing. Do not miss this episode, it's a winner!

In this episode Troy starts a series of "words the church has screwed up that screwed up Christian Men" with the word Humility. Humility is at the core of being a Christian man, it is of ultimate importance to get this one right if we are to live as men who live out our missing as defined by God as described in the Bible.
Humility has turned into this passive aggressive way to tell men to calm down. To stop pushing so hard and has eroded at the core of what makes men men. A man who is Humble before God and has Faith In Gods infinite power will appear arrogant or to lack “humility” before men. Humility is a word that should insight greatness and infinite power, not quiet passivity or subdued goals and objectives.
Go on this journey wit Troy as he reads biblical passages that give us an insight as to what it really means to live Humbly!
In this episode Troy talks through the concept of having nothing to lose. In a time where many of us feel like we have a lot to lose, and a lot of responsibilities, what does it mean to live like we've got nothing to lose? The Bible has a great deal to say about living a life so focussed on Christ and that one's decision and actions are as if there is in fact nothing to lose. How do we live a fearless life? Troy lays down a Biblical argument that everything on earth is in fact nothing. To live is Christ and to Die is gain.

In this episode Troy talks about the fact that a man who indends to stand for something great, different than the norm, or new, will incur great ridicule, shame, mockery, or straight up opposition. Men must be able to endure ridicule if they intend on deviating from the norm by standing for the foundational principals of manhood or doing anything great.
