Lets face it, life is hard. Sometimes it's like we get punched in the face once a week but more often than not it feels like we are continuously getting jabbed until that right hook of life connects with our jaw and puts us on our backside. What do you do when that happens? How do you get through day after day after day. Just put one foot in front of the other, but how?

Do you dwell on the things you wish you could change in your past or do you wish you were blessed with a different talent than what you have? Do you question why God put you in the position you are in? Let’s start changing our mindset. Start thinking of those things as blessings in your life. We all have them; however, God has a plan and purpose for your life and if you stay in your lane and stop trying to get into someone else’s you will see God’s path for you a little clearer.
“There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body” (1 Corinthians 12: 12 NIRV)
“the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other” (1 Corinthians 12: 23-25 NIV)
I encourage you to read and study 1 Corinthians 12. Paul writes about unity and diversity in the body. God made you for a special purpose to follow your calling, not someone else’s. Staying in your lane will help bring unity to the body of Christ. Lean into the “body part” that God designed you to be in His church.

This episode of the Worship & Production Podcast brings you 4 practical steps to build a strong volunteer team. No matter the size of your team, we all struggle with growing a team in numbers but more importantly growing closer in our relationship to Christ and together. My prayer is that these steps will help you change your mindset and how you look at the people filling the positions you have on the weekends. That you see your position as a leader differently, one as a minister to the people God has placed right in front of you. Too often as leaders in the church we focus on the job we have to do and forget to love the person right in front of us.

This episode of the Worship & Production Podcast is an intro into our Production Team discussing two things we look at as essential for a healthy and productive team. We are not perfect at this, however we strive to communicate clearly what is current on our team as things constantly change and to build team unity to grow stronger together as we grow closer to God. We hope you enjoy this episode and that it may help you build a stronger team whether you are building a church production team or a corporate team. Communication and unity are essential.
1 Corinthians 1:10: I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.
Woodlands Church Mission Statement: Our mission is to help people experience Christ rather than man’s creation of religion, so they can grow strong in Christ and take the Christ experience to the world. Reaching people for Christ, grow them strong in Christ so they can go out and make a difference for Christ in the world. - WC.org
1 Peter 4:10-11: As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever.
Mark 10:45: For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve...
Ephesians 4:29: Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Luke 17:10: So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.
