Jesus is Lord of All. Someone coined the phrase "Jesus is Lord of All," or "He is not Lord at all." Witty and true. In this message, we are looking at how God is Lord of THE All. This explains why and how He is Lord of All in our lives.

Too many are satisfied to live in the desert. They're alive, but they miss the blessings and beauty that life has to offer. So too, many are willing to live in a spiritual desert and rob themselves of the spiritual blessings God will pour out on us when we live according to His precepts.

Knowing God's word is so very beneficial for us. It's especially beneficial when we memorize His word. When we choose a life's verse it can help us quickly. We bring the verse to mind and in a short moment we are reminded of His role and positive influence in our life.

There are many different names found in the Bible. Many we love and use when naming our children. Others are too nationalistic, and others have bad connotations. One name we should all aspire to is Andrew. Andrew came upon Jesus one day while visiting the place where John the Baptist was baptizing people. When he heard John say, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world," Andrew immediately followed after Jesus. After meeting Jesus, the Messiah, he left to find his brother. He told Peter he had found the Messiah, then brought Peter to Jesus so Peter could meet him. Andrew is an example every Christian would do well to follow.

Today, we need to be sure people know which Jesus we mean. We have people who have no clue who Jesus the Christ is, and we have people who preach a different Jesus than the Bible describes. They have constructed a Jesus who fits their rationalization of who Jesus is. But we have a faithful account that tells us what we need to know about this Jesus! This is the first of a series about Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

We find great power and effect when we plead with God for His intervention, following the pattern of adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication (ACTS).

A grateful heart brings many wonderful benefits. Christians, especially, should be people of thanksgiving because we know all that Jesus has done for us. God commands us to be thankful for all things. In this message, we discuss the benefits of a grateful heart towards God.

Next in our prayer series is "The Power of Prostration - Confession." To get the most out of prayer, we need to go through a cleansing ritual of sorts. We need to ask God to illuminate our sin, confess it, and repent. Only then do we enable the Holy Spirit to work deeply within us and reveal God's mind.

After salvation and all it affords us, perhaps the next greatest benefit of a renewed relationship with God is the privilege of going to Him in prayer. Prayer is the practice of talking to God and listening to Him. This message is the first of four teachings about prayer.

Beginning in the first chapter of Genesis, God created and established families as the core structure for humankind. In this message, we see God's unfolding plan for the family unit: where children learn about God, are trained in God's ways, and the family is a crucial proving ground for church leaders. Walk with us through God's word as we unfold His plan for the worldwide proclamation of His message.
