Our message this week comes from Galatians 5:22-26 and 1 Corinthians 13:4 on being a Peaceable person as we continue our series on Love One Another. To be peaceable we must put aside envy, conceit, boasting, and a manner that provokes others to rage. Listen as we learn how to bring peace to our world instead of strife.

Today we continue our series on Love One Another by looking at the act of kindness. Being kind to one another goes beyond holding a door open, our speech to and about others is another factor in being kind. Ephesians 4:29-32 is our scripture basis for today's message.

Continuing in our series, Love One Another, today's topic is patience.  Iniitially the question is answered,  Why is it so important to God that we demonstrate love to others. Then we see the differences in patience and how patience with others can be developed and improved.

Jesus, "By this all men shall know you are my disciples, if you have love one for another." Repeatedly, Jesus taught that we need to practice love to everyone. Today, using 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 as a springboard, we look at the command to love one another. This is the opening sermon of a series on loving one another. Next week we will consider the instruction to be patient.

God is a just God and as a just God He must punish sin. But he is a merciful God and he has provided a way for man to be forgiven of his sin and made whole again. Watch as we look at these two sides of God.

A look at the Christmas story as found in Luke chapter 2

There are over 800 passages in the Bible telling us to have joy, be glad, and give praise. The sermon today from Philippians in a reminder of what joy is especially versus happiness. The old song "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" is a film from 1955 and the theme song for that film. It describes the glorious moments of love. We all love to be loved. It is an innate desire. At this time of year we celebrate God's love for us in the form of a baby, the baby Jesus Christ. Jesus demonstrated His love for us in the most tender and self-sacrificing way. God loves us but how do we show Him love? Watch and listen as Pastor Wes uses 1 Corinthians 13 as a starting point to talk about the complexities of love.

Jesus Christ came to give us peace in a world filled with trouble but not the peace most seek. He was an unlikely Savior born to an unlikely time, place, and family. Using Isaiah 51:1-5 today, we seek to gain an new and or refreshed appreciation for the Christ Child.

This message we begin the Advent season of 2023. Our message comes from Micah 5:1-4 and recalls the prophecy of Jesus' birth in Bethlehem.
