On the 7th September 1992, twenty-eight African National Congress supporters and one soldier were shot dead by the Ciskei Defence Force during a protest march when they attempted to enter Bhisho to demand the reincorporation of Ciskei into South Africa during the final years of apartheid.
The truAfternoon team spoke to Priscilla Maxongo who was one of the organizers of this march to hear the "behind the scenes story" and how she was affected by these killings.
