OOIDA’s Truckers for Troops campaign is underway! Since 2007, more than $800,000 has been raised to send care package overseas to active-duty military – and in recent years – toward veterans in need here at home. Since it’s day one of the weeklong campaign, we figured it might be nice to talk to a few people who have been involved with Truckers for Troops since day one of the event itself. Brad Hennon, Nikki Johnson, Jami Jones and Norita Taylor explain how it began, what those early days were like and how all the money raised over the years has been a big thank you to all who served.
