We invent superheroes and their stories but Jesus is an actual superhero who has defeated our greatest enemies. In Mark 6, Jesus is rejected by his hometown, signaling that he was a very ordinary man until recently. He also feeds the 5000 with striking connections to Psalm 23 and walks on water while making a claim that can calm our fears.
