Margot Denomme is a Crown Attorney, working in Toronto Canada.  She noticed that her children were comparing themselves to photo shopped images of celebrities and wondered what was going on.

When her daughter asked her if she was pretty, she started a new dialogue about what pretty is.  After several other mothers copied what she was doing, she decided to make an impact on ALL children. 

Margot started a movement to teach children how to celebrate themselves from the inside out.  She published her first book in 2013 called "Mommy, Am I Pretty?"  .  She spoke at over 200 schools, creating a new context for how children see themselves.  Her book is used to start meaningful conversations between adults and children.

Margot's work is truly incredible.  She is making a difference with the next generation of children.  Margot's second book, "Awesome, Inside and Out", is for boys.  Margot had noticed that they were also comparing themselves to photo-shopped images and feeling bad about how they looked.  She knows she is making an impact based on feedback she has received from children and adults.
