“As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.”

“Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn? For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one. I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation. His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them. Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance.”

Pride is the major sinful issue in human life. Pride makes you ignorant unable to learn from others. God hates pride, but he loves the humble and meek.

An arrogant man would show off his ability and competency in public and thus making people around him very repulsive. The Bible informs us to be quick to listen and slow to speak and anger. Imagine that if a student in a classroom frequently talking to a professor expressing his thoughts and competency, but he doesn't want to listen to the lecture. Of Course, It is very exasperating to anyone. In our daily struggle of life, we have to make some important decisions on finance and vocation. If we want to have the good outcomes that bring blessing to our lives, we must ask God's help. Because of limitation in mankind, the impotent finite creature, we must wait on God's providence. Our God is the all-knowing, all-powerful, and all good. He can see everything that we are unable to see, thus only he can guide us in the pathway of life, not making any irrevocable foolish decision and ruin our lives. The waiting and resting on God's process can bring glory to him.

“Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee. And thou shalt consume all the people which the Lord thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee. If thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them? Thou shalt not be afraid of them: but shalt well remember what the Lord thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt;”
