Centering our conversation around how we Strengthen our Core physically, emotionally, and spirituality, Meghan Enriquez CEO of TRUE Conversations talks this week to Creator and CEO of Keep Me Tight www.keepmetight.com, Shameeka Hunt.
Sneak Peak: "Whether the women are pre or postpartum, and in athletics, when we talk about the core it is really getting down to the foundations. For me I went through that drastic change emotionally and physically because of how I looked and how my clothes didn't fit... I had c sections so I lost a lot of that muscle memory. I can lose some of that lack of self love and self doubt and transform that into what do I have control over and what can I do to be a better me? As women we are very hard on ourselves. When I step into and say, our core is everything, that is a center that gives us strength that give us alignment and strength and stability... I want to serve as a tool to push you and empower you. When I empower you then you have a decision to make for yourself, you can't look back and say 'I didn't know.'"
Grab a glass of wine or coffee and listen to this hour of true conversation for the entire family.
Part 2 of this TRUEcast with Lisa Manning, about the healing power of touch, we get into the details of how to actually implement touch as a healing modality in every day life, BEFORE a crisis occurs. How to use touch with our children, asking for it ourselves, and extending it to our aging parents.

What may surprise is what we uncover about health, and how the decision to be vegan is not just about loving animals or saving the planet, it is a personal way to positively prevent disease, even cancer.
Guest Elizabeth Steinhauer, Miss Earth Ohio 2016 and an NFL Cheerleader for Cincinnati Bengals, joined me in discussing some of the most avoided topics of today, and we tried our best to tackle these sensitive topics with as little shame and as much compassion as possible. The topics are: Sex, Food and Judgement as they relate to Reclaiming one's body. As parents we need to learn how to have these true conversations with our daughters and sons as they grow older, but first the healthy mindset and the attitude begins within us, the adults. Her insightfulness, honesty and mindfulness about her choices around sex, her ups and downs with food, pageants, competitive sports, cheerleading, and her body are relatable and wisdom for everyone.

"As a victim and now advocate for child abuse and homelessness I volunteer majority of my time at homeless shelters. I have been able to speak at multiple recovery programs and share my story. No matter what your past is, how broken you think you are, how broken your family might be, your mistakes, or regrets your story, your ashes can be made into something beautiful!" - Christy
