Grace and Kurt discuss the weirdness we all experienced over 24 years ago: Y2K, when despite people having thought airplanes would fallout of the sky, nothing much really happened. We talk about what the problem was, what glitches did occur, and what what humans may have thought 1000 years before, on Y1K. 

Grace and Kurt set aside a previously planned True Doom episode (about Y2K) because of what's happening in Israel and Palestine this last week of November 2023, but also because of how that centuries-old---millennia-old---conflict has affected us. 

There's some history, biblical, political, and personal. and there are feelings deeply expressed.  And also music from Apollo's Fire, Jerusalem: City of Three Faiths.   

Grace and Kurt lay out some generational thoughts and feelings about the events of late October 1962, including cameos by JFK, Adlai Stevenson, the San Francisco Giants and the New York Yankees, who won....again.
