Nancy finds herself in the center of a very intriguing case, involving missing diamonds, a woman who has possibly been unfairly imprisoned, and the death/possible disappearance of a famous writer! It's up to Nancy to solve the case, along with Bess, George and Ned!

Nancy, Bess and George get in on the fun when a horror movie, Terror Weekend, is being filmed in River Heights on location! The movie is sure to be a scream, but odd things keep happening--whenever things are written in the script, they start playing out in real life at the creepy mansion across the street, Fenley Place!

Nancy quickly discovers that there's more to this case than meets the eye: a retirement home that may be a front for nefarious activities, a famous missing boxer and a terrorist plot against the foreign minister from the UK!
