Amberly Lago embodies true grit, grace, and resilience.

These kinds of stories are my favorite. Stories about women who, when faced with an unimaginable challenge, pull themselves up, and bounce back, often even better than before. Amberly suffered a major trauma at 38 when she was hit by an SUV and underwent 34 surgeries to save her leg from amputation. After losing her business, then her self confidence, and then struggling with depression, Amberly decided she needed to do one thing to change her circumstances: fight to create something positive.
