Guest Pastor Mark Bernard fills in this week with great message about letting God transform our lives. If we were a house, do we give Him access to all the rooms? Or do we keep Him in the basement?
The third message in the "Building a New You" series examines our brains and how we think. Looking at the story of Samson in the Old Testament, we can learn a few simple things about how, why and when we need to change the way we think.
In the second message of this series, we look at the things that make the heart a good one - the 7 traits our hearts must be as we let God build a new person. This sermon picks up where the first message left off and examines what needs to be present in our hearts.
In the kick-off message to this series, we start "building a new you" from the ground up - from the foundation. The heart is the first thing to examine to rebuild in the right way.
Looking at 4 "-ives" gives us big insight into what it means to really have an awakening. Starting with a new perspective and ending with a new directive, this message will make us examine our faith in a new way.
Going back in the Old Testament to the book of Joshua, we can learn a lot about what an awakening in our hearts can mean when we look at a man named Achan.
For Christ-followers, everything we say and do in our lives is a reflection of Jesus. If an "Awakening" is going to happen in our world, we first have to take a good look at the mirror image we're supposed to be.
This new series starts boldly after last Sunday: because Easter isn't over. The resurrection now gives us a responsibility to share the Good News. This message centers around the transfiguration and what we can come awake to in our world.
In the second part of this mini-series, we close on Easter Sunday with the message of hope that Jesus actually offers us: Resurrection. (Re-recorded)
