The second message in the series asks some tough questions that we have to answer, whether we like to or not. Plus, what does football have to do with the sermon on the mount?
This series looks at "The Sermon" - Jesus' sermon on the mount in Matthew chapters 5-7. In the first message, we look at the beatitudes and how much our heart matters in what we say and do.
Building off of last week's "Dig Deeper" message, we pick up where the challenge left off: in the book of Ephesians. There are a few 'ups' we need to think about as we mature in our faith.
Dig deeper - into worship and the word of God. This message challenges us to evaluate whether or not we are "surface level" Christians, and to do something about it.
The final message in the "Follow" series examines how Jesus is (or should be) the source of our joy. Through serving, giving, loving and living - our joy is made complete in Christ.
The third week of this series evaluates the cost of following Jesus, though we may not like to think there is one. We must pick up our cross and hope to be "comfortably uncomfortable."
After you make a choice to follow Jesus, you have to have the faith to see it through. Looking at two very different stories in the Gospels, we have to ask ourselves a question: do we have the faith to follow?
