Are creatives allowed to rest?

I haven’t been feeding into my creativity consistently and I’m beginning to feel an overwhelming sense of regret due to the reminder of mortality that is knocking on my door. I can’t imagine dying before being able to birth these ideas. As a visionary, I will never feel accomplished if I don’t successfully release these constant concepts my brain is continually receiving. Yet, as mother, a teacher, someone who values rest and SO much more, I also have been debating if I have the time to express these ideas.
