From Luke 15:11-32.

As children of technology and social media, we all have the ability to escape into alternate realities, and in doing so, run away from God and what He is doing in our real lives. This week, we kick off our summer series: Seasons, as we explore how God works in all seasons of our lives, especially the ones we'd prefer to skip.

It is in times of waiting, for questions to have answers, moments to pass, or better times to come, that God invites us to follow him even further into the unknown, always with the promise that He is there and He is good.

Part 5 of the series "Songs of Lament." Experiencing grief is not only an inevitable part of life, it is a pathway to healing and deep joy. When we choose to lament and cry out to God, He reminds us of the real reason we have to hope in a better tomorrow.
