Do you like doing the dishes? What about mowing the lawn or yard work? You might not like to do any of these chores, but you do them anyway…and often without the best attitude. When it comes to serving the Lord and God’s people though you must not only serve outwardly but with a heart and spirit that is in alignment with God and His will. Remembering, as Pastor Gary says, you must do the work of the Lord with your heart in the right place and not just your hands.

None of the inventions we have today would have been invented without an inventor, right? Neither the cellphone, the electric car, nor the air fryer would have come into existence if it had not been for someone creating them. Well, Pastor Gary shares that the same can be said about the universe, the earth, and you. You did not come into existence by random chance. You were thought of and designed by The Creator. And he created you uniquely for this time. You were created for a specific purpose to serve God.

What is something you are passionate about? Maybe it’s a sports team or a hobby? Today, Pastor Gary says you should be passionate about the gospel. Paul was passionate about the gospel, to the point of death. His whole mission in life was to make the name of Jesus known. Pastor Gary says that if you are not passionate about the gospel, you will not get anything done for the gospel. The thing you are passionate about is what your life will revolve around. Choose to be passionate about Christ today.

When we want something we go for it. We will always make time for things that we prioritize. In today’s message, Pastor Gary says that Christians should do everything they can to share the gospel to the ends of the Earth. That doesn’t mean that it will be easy. Pastor Gary says that this will come with its troubles, but that shouldn’t deter us from sharing the good news of Christ. Through opposition, you must be firm in the belief that Christ is the only way to salvation. What are you willing to do for the gospel?

One of the marks of a mature Christian is their ability to Love other people. Love was the main message of Jesus’ ministry. He was able to love people who were overlooked in society. It’s not hard to love people who have something to offer us, but it is harder to love the least of these. In today’s message, Pastor Gary will be sharing the importance of loving people well. Love is the most important thing in the life of a believer. If we go out and believe in Jesus but don’t love people, we’re missing the whole message!

There is always a greater purpose behind Jesus’ teachings. Many people believe that it is just a behavior modification to get us to do things. When we read the Bible we know that that is not the heart of the Father. Everything that Jesus teaches us is actually to make us more like him, and more Holy. There are many people that don’t realize just how precious they are in the eyes of God. While we were still sinners and enemies towards him, he loved us. When God sent Jesus down to die on the cross for our sins, it was the greatest act of Love. God gave his only son for us!
