Can you give it all up for Jesus? Give up all to stand with Him. That is a hard thing to do. Did you ever mess up? You messed up so bad that you will never be right again? Do you think God is watching you hit you on the head if you mess up again? Today, Pastor Gary declares that God is not like that. As a good father, God loves His children and covers us when we fall. God's forgiveness restores our friendship with Him. As He forgives us, we must also forgive others God has restored. This pleases God. Let's enjoy God's hug and embrace those that God embraces.

Satan can't convince God you are bad, so instead, he tries to convince you. Just remember the enemy has no right to beat you up, but wars against you anyway. Your victory comes by listening to what God declares about you, not what Satan says to you. Let's war against Satan by constantly washing our minds with the truth of God's Word.

“God is better to us than we are to ourselves” … Wow, what a true statement. God has blessed you with his Grace to cover all your mistakes and all your sins. It’s easy for us to cling to what we have done wrong, but God wants your attention to be on what you can do to further His kingdom. One way that this happens is when people use their charisma or leadership abilities to mislead others. It happens all the time in the Church. We need to weigh everything against the Word and in prayer.

The easy way is seldom the best way. The only way to righteousness is through Christ, and it’s far from easy. If you make the approval of others your goal in life, you’ll be forced to compromise on your faith-driven values, missing out on God’s bigger purpose.
