We're back with a new episode of the True North Racing Podcast presented by Vision 20 Studios. We're joined this week with "The Instant Classic" Andy Kamrath. Andy is one of the most dominant racers in recent years amassing many victories along the way with capturing the OSCAAR Modified Championship in 2022.

Before we brought Andy into the show Jon and Megan talked about their weekends, Jons April fools joke, Megan playing jokes on her family. It was time to bring in this weeks guest Andy Kamrath. Kamrath who is in his 24th season of racing we learned how he got started racing in the Jr. Late Models at Sauble Speedway before jumping to the limited late model class at Sauble. Discussing that jump and the learning curve that came with it. We got to learn how the bet between Shawn Chenoweth came about for Autumn Colours. We learned how Andy and Mike Schmidt started their London Recreational Racing partnership. Plus so much more!

It was time to bring the this weeks guest Mike Thomson. We learned about Mike and how he got involved in racing from starting out with his brother racing enduros at Merrittville and Humberstone before taking their talents to Delaware. 2022 marked the first full time season for Mike Thomson behind the wheel of a stock car. Mike competed in all Mini Stock events at Flamboro Speedway securing two wins and finishing second in points.

This week on the True North Racing Podcast presented by Vision 20 Studios we sat down with pure stock driver Alex Stewart. We have been graced by his siblings Eric and Nicole in past episodes and now we are lucky to have Alex join us.

We got the show rolling with our pace lap where Jon and Megan talked about a busy upcoming weekend with the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo happening at the the Toronto International Centre this Friday-Sunday. Jon went on to talk about his role he will be covering this weekend at the show. Jon will be there for sure on Saturday and Sunday working with the Young Drivers Canadian Vintage Modifieds, Sauble Speedway and as well as seeing our friends at Taylor'd To You Media & Design. Megan is hoping to be there on the Sunday. Stay tuned to see what her plan will be.

It was time to bring in this weeks guest Alex Stewart. We started talking about Alex getting into racing. Learning where he started as his family has been involved in racing helping teams at Full Throttle Motor Speedway @ Varney. We would go on to find out about how Alex got his start in racing with his Mazda 6 in 2021. Alex would go on to talk about getting in to the Cavalier for the 2022 season and what happened to kill the motor at the Flamboro Enduro. We talked about his ride for  the 2023 season as well as what his plans for the upcoming season. Alex also took some time and answered some questions in our Fan Question Period.

Episode 87 of the True North Racing Podcast is live now on all major podcasting platforms. This weeks guest is the announcer of Flamboro Speedway Kevin Small. Before having Kevin join Jon and Megan our hosts would discuss what they got up to this week.

Jon and Megan opened the show talking about their previous week. Megan talked about her two day work trip to London. Jon announced that our winner of our contest winner of who guessed the correct winner of the NASCAR race at Auto Club Speedway. With four people guessing correctly we had to let fate decide as we put the four names on the choose wheel. Nick Tooley would be the winner of our JoMo Media prize pack. Nick won a JoMo Media t-shirt, tumbler and JoMo Media decal. Stay tuned to our social media pages as we announce more contests throughout the 2023 season!

It was time to bring in this weeks guest on the show Mr. Kevin Small. Kevin who took over announcing at Flamboro Speedway starting in the 2022 season from Gary Colling. We learned how Kevin got involved in racing with his family team crewing and spotting for their modified. Kevin started his announcing journey by announcing his sisters Brampton Canadettes games. After taking some time and doing some one off announcing jobs at Full Throttle Motor Speedway. In 2022 with Gary Colling stepping down as lead announcer at Flamboro Speedway to take over General Manager of the speedway. Kevin through his hat in the ring and landed the job at Flamboro Speedway. As well taking over social media duties for the track.

Episode 86 of the True North Racing Podcast is live now and we hope you enjoy this conversation with CTE Racings Connor Ellis. Connor in 2022 took his talents from the Pure Stock division and tried his hand in the OSCAAR Hot Rod Series. Connor would battle for the Rookie Of the Year titles where he ultimately tied with the late Bill Zardo Sr.

To kick off the show Jon and Megan discussed Megans absence last week due to her wifi being down. We also find out how the progress of their three car team over at MRC Racing is doing. With the cage in the Sunfire being installed last week. We also discuss paint schemes for the upcoming season for Megan as well as possible ideas.

Jon decided it would be fun to have our own question period between Megan and Jon. It is likely it will turn into a part time segment on the show. As between Megan and Jon we discussed paints schemes, go pro placements as well as what song is on the "DO NOT Playlist at Jon and Jacklyns wedding.

We had a great conversation with Connor as we learned how we got started in racing, learning about his racing career, his plans for 2023 as well as taking sometime for our Fan Question Period.

To date this is our longest episode ever recorded that we had to make it in to two parts. This week will look and sound a tad bit different as Brandon Feeney joins the show as our sub co-host as Megan was unable to make it onto the show. Our opening segment was brief as Brandon thought it would be a good idea to bring back an old game of ours to try it out on our duo. Jon spoke about a couple of new diecasts he picked up over the weekend. The #27 of Tim Richmond and the #23 of Davey Allison. Brandon spoke about seeing our friend Taylor from Taylor'd To you. 

We were excited to bring on our guest Stickers N' Scuffs. Jon and Brandon talked to Cam K and Graydon about how they got involved in racing, How they became friends. The talks of starting a podcast and of course getting to make contacts with amazing people. Before we started recording Brandon had the great idea of playing our old game Checker's or Wreckers after last weeks Facebook discussion about Cams camp councilor name was Checkers which Brandon poked fun saying that means Graydon must be Wreckers. We were able to stump them for the most part with Cam squeaking out the victory over Graydon 2-1. Cam K and Graydon Bunn also took some time and answered some fan questions. 

To wrap up the show Brandon and Jon talked about the interview with the boys from Stickers N' Scuffs as well as looking forward to some more collaborations between Jon and Brandon.
