De Weg Van Hobby Naar Wereldklasse Artiest - Martin Verdonk | Wereldklasse Percussionist

Rechten te gaan studeren omdat je ouders dit van je verwachten, of je passie volgen en lekker gaan ''trommelen''?

Diep van binnen wist hij het wel.

Na een jaar alles op alles gezet te hebben kreeg hij de zegening van zijn vader... onder één voorwaarde.

''Zorg dan dat je de allerbeste wordt''

Dit is dan ook precies wat Martin gedaan heeft. Door de loop van zijn carriere deelde Martin het podium met onder andere: Richard Bona, Steve Winwood, Incognito en Prince.

Maar ook in Nederland is Martin een befaamde percussionist waarin hij samen werkte met: Ilse DeLange, Nick & Simon, Jan Smit, 3J’s, Doe Maar, Rob de Nijs, Paul de Leeuw, OG3NE en nog vele andere.

Naast dat Martin een topspeler is in de muziekindustrie, heeft hij ook echt een topwarme persoonlijkheid. Hij vertelt over hoe hij tijdens Corona zonder enige schaamte toch zijn steentje bijdraagt door aan de slag te gaan als promotie medewerker bij lokale supermarkten, en hoe hij hard werken als de sleutel tot succes ziet.
