Excuses … we all give them. As valid and realistic as some of they may be it doesn’t relieve us of our responsibilities to walk out this life with Christ to the fullest. Making excuses is telling God that we believe we know better and let’s be honest, we don’t!

Let this be apart of your morning routine. As you are heading into work or school, as you are walking into difficult situations, or as you maybe just need the reminder of who you are in Christ. Positive affirmations mean nothing but biblical affirmations I can vibe with!

Positive affirmations are everywhere. Just google it and you’ll find hundreds if not thousands of positive affirming statements. But are they biblical?!

Being stuck really sucks!! Do you ever find yourself feeling like you keep turning the key to only find out the car doesn’t start?! Like you’ve stalled out?! You’re trying and trying but nothing is happening, Lord. Listen in and get a new revelation on surrender, it’s good y’all 👏🏻

We aren’t designed to compare. God didn’t create us to and we aren’t designed to. Instead, God desires for us to align our perspective to His truth. God designed us to encourage and cheer each other on. Our competition isn’t with THEM … our competition is with the supernatural evil forces that surround us day after day. The only way we can truly tackle these forces is through our helper, the Holy Spirit. Listen in as we gain understanding that our struggles only allow God’s strength to be shown.

It’s easy to fall into the comparison mentality with all the social media platforms that we are consumed by each day. As much as we like to blame social media for all our problems we really need to come to terms with the idea that comparison is actually a heart condition. Comparison shows us that our hearts aren’t postured correctly. Let’s tackle comparison together. Satan wants defeated Christians, and you my friend are NOT defeated!!!

Many of us aren’t walking God’s plan for our lives for the mere fact that we don’t feel we have any responsibility here as believers. That is a lie. Jesus commanded us to go and preach the gospel. Go and share Jesus with everyone and anyone. This concept of being a minister is legit … lay the suit down … you my friend are a minister!

So many times throughout our lives we allow the things that we’ve heard dictate what we start to believe. It is true that the enemy loves nothing more than seeing a defeated Christian. Defeated Christians don’t fulfill their God given purposes. So what are you listening to?! And can we embrace the Shazam concept in our everyday lives?!

So many times we get caught up in what we desire, what we want, how we think things should go. Can I so gently remind you … it isn’t about you! Listen in, as I share an experience I’ve recently walked through where I’ve learned this hard but needed lesson in my life. It isn’t about me!!!
