In this episode, we are interviewing The Bolerjacks and asking the question, "What About Boundaries?" Boundaries are important regardless of whether you are married, single, or looking. However in this lesson we will specifically see that boundaries are extremally important when looking for a spouse.
In this episode, we interview Adam and Brandi Barnes about their marriage and the question, "Why should I get married?" Our culture has the wrong idea's about why to get married and if we truly want to seek wisdom, as Proverbs 3:13-14 and many other places say, we should listen to the counsel of wise married couples.
In this lesson we will be going through Eph. 6:17-24 and the final pieces of armor as well as the farewell of Paul to the faithful church at Ephesus. As we look back over the lessons of Ephesians, we see many clear and distinct applications and the final few verses is no different.
In this lesson we see the fourth piece of armor, the shield of faith. As Paul uses the illustration of the Roman shield, we can see that practicing and using the shield of faith will help us have peace and joy in our lives despite our circumstances.
In this lesson we are going over Ephesians 6:10-15 and looking at the famous armor of God. We see what the first three pieces are and how we can put them on in our life today.
In the section of scripture we see Paul's famous words of Children obey your parents. We see here that there are two more relationships that Paul discuses and application is easily understood in this short section of scripture.
In this lesson we see Paul continuing to tell the church how to practically live out their faith through their relationships. There are five relationships that Paul teaches about, three are in todays lesson. Practical application from the Word is easy here, as we all have relationships and will have them in the future as well.
In Matthew chapter 2 we see the wise men enter the scene, but how much do we know about these men? What do we know about the gifts they brought? All in all we see as we study these traveling magi, we see one stark thing, they had great joy, and worshiped Jesus because they knew who He really was.
In this lesson we will take a look at Simeon, one of the characters who was at the temple during Jesus's 8 day ceremony. We see that Simeon was a truth seeker and a great man of God who had a unique promise from God. As Simeon looked for the first coming of Christ, we too should look for the coming in the clouds.
In this lesson, Adam Barnes goes through Philippians 3:15 - 4:1. We see Paul showing the church that they should continue in maturity.
