On the air with us to discuss this topic will be Christian apologist and author, Rob Bowman, Director of Research with the Institute for Religious Research. Rob holds an M.A in Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary, completed his doctoral studies at Westminister Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing the completion of his doctoral dissertation at the South African Theological Seminary. For ten years, he also taught graduate courses in apologetics at Luther Rice University and Biola and is the author of many articles and books pertaining to apologetics, religion and biblical theology. We were very excited to have Rob on the air with us to share a wealth of knowledge with us and our listeners.

Is abortion really a decision that concerns only a woman and her doctor?  After interviewing a number of post-abortive mothers and learning about the reality of most women's post-abortion experiences, we now turn to a story of a post-abortive father in a series of future interviews with post-abortive fathers.  Bruce Rivers, a pastor at Greater Exodus Baptist Church in California, will be on to share his personal journey through abortion and self-reflection.  He presents a side of the abortion equation that is denied to exist and silenced on politically correct grounds.

Representing the atheistic view will be Daniel Schalit. After starting a pre-med track, Daniel received a B.A. in English Literature from Binghamton University and a M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in cognitive linguistics from University of Texas- Austin. Over the years he has taught college discussion courses and has currently been teaching high school Physics for several years. Representing the Christian view will be Shandon Guthrie. Shandon has earned both a Master's Degree in Theology and Philosophy and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Philosophy from Manchester Metropolitan University. He is currently visiting lecturer of philosophy as well as faculty advisor for Ratio Christi at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. Please join us for this engaging discussion on God's existence.

In her meteoric rise to political stardom, Texas State Sen. Wendy Davis is experiencing a bit of a meltdown as she contends with contradictions to her life story, contradictions that she admits is the real truth about her history.  Is this cog in the Leftist Trojan Horse about to break in their 10-year plan to turn Texas more liberal and more approving of abortion?

We also welcome Angela Grogg back to PLFR.  In the wake of her daughter's rape and birth of a grandson, Angela discovered that no laws or very few laws exist to protect children born from rape and their mothers across the 50 states.  Angela has worked with Missouri state legislators to pass a law that nullifies claims to parental rights from rapists and is now the impetus to moving legislation forward on the federal level.  As with all good things, however, this effort is not without a dark cloud as she tells us who is and who is not enthusiastic about such protections, and the identities may surprise you.  Please listen to her powerful story that will protect children and women from future harm by rapists.

This is what you might face if you stand outside an abortion facility to try to persuade people from aborting their children:  irate, guilt-ridden, and emotional men who attack you for not letting them practice avoiding the issue.  That is what happened to two Abolish Human Abortion demonstrators in Norman, OK a few weeks ago.  Video taken caught a man and a woman exiting an abortion facility who were then engaged in conversation by Toby Harmon and Jeremy Brown from AHA.  The encounter soon turned hostile, as the man (as yet unnamed) became physically violent, assaulting the two others and breaking one of their cameras.  Today, we will be talking with Toby and Jeremy about the incident and how the Norman Police Department are (or are not) handling their case.

The word "pro-life" has come to be synonymous with the issue of abortion.  While "pro-life" certainly encompasses the issue of abortion, a pro-life issue is any that deals with the the devaluation of life in some way as to deprive someone of life, regardless of age.  Today, we will deal with a present situation involving the hospitalization and consequent tragedy of 13 year-old Jahi McMath, a young girl who has been declared brain dead by hospital doctors.  However, she survives on life support, and her family is fighting to keep her on life support and transported to an alternate care facility while the hospital and even a judge has ordered the removal of all life-sustaining medical care.

Walter Hoye, from Issues4Life Foundation, will be our guest today to discuss how the Jahi McMath case provides the pro-life community with the opportunity to communicate the overall pro-life viewpoint.  Rev. Hoye has been in contact with the McMath family and will share with us their struggle against the medical staff trying to put their daughter into the morgue.

 At present, there is great disagreement over her declared "brain dead" state, and out other guest today is Dr. Paul Byrne, who will talk to us about the medical determination of Jahi's diagnosis and what sound medical ethics ought to propel us to do in her case.  Dr. Byrne is a columnist for Renew America and has written a response to Wesley J. Smith's reasoning that Jahi is truly dead.
