Religious persecution is a pro-life issue.  Today, we will explore the experiences of those the Iranian government has chosen to imprison and persecute.

Our first guest is the wife of Saeed Abedini, a Christian American pastor who is currently serving an eight-year sentence in Iran's Evin Prison, the worst prison in that country.  His wife, Naghmeh, will be on to share some of the detail of his imprisonment as well as tell us more about the #SaveSaeed campaign to persuade the U.S. State Department to demand his immediate release.  She will be joined by one of the attorneys from The American Center for Law and Justice to talk about Saeed's case

Randy Noble is a Christian author who has developed friendships with many Iranians.  In learning of their experiences in Iran, Randy wrote The Rose of Nowruz, which is an account of their stories told through a fictional character.  Letitia took the opportunity to sit down with him for an interview and find out a little more about Randy's heart and prayers for the people of Iran.

Earlier this week, the Arkansas State legislature upheld a ban on abortions after 20 weeks, overriding a veto from the Arkansas Governor.  One of the details in the ban is the exception for cases of rape and incest.  Most Americans who consider themselves pro-life in the area of abortion almost by default accept exceptions in legislation that restricts or outlaws abortion.  But why?  Are exceptions justified?

We will talk to some courageous women today who have seen rape up close and personal and also have conceived children through rape.  Please listen to their stories as they seek to share with others the message that rape-conceived children are no less disposable than any other conceived child.

Join us for some pointed and personal questions we'll ask from our guests:

Pyper Grogg, a teenager who was raped and conceived her son.  She and her family have just concluded a court battle with the rapist, who was claiming custory of the child.

Angela Grogg, Pyper's mother, who has taken on the enormous task of finding justice for her daughter and grandson.

Anna Richey, a woman who was a child raped repeatedly by her stepfather gave birth to a daughter at age 13.

Do not miss their stories as we contradict the 'exceptions' language in pro-life legislation today.
