In this episode we talk about all the parenting tools we have learned, used and that actually work for us and our toddlers! Hopefully if you are in the thick of toddlerhood one of these tools can help you too! We're all in this together right? :)
We feel so passionately about the beautiful role of women and mothers in the gospel of Jesus Christ. By the worlds standards, sometimes we might feel like "just a mom" or that our role as women is somehow less than the role of men. We completely disagree and in this episode we share some truly empowering quotes from Sister Sheri Dew's talk called "Are We Not All Mothers".
Instead of just enduring this winter we are trying to lean into it and find joy in these colder months that tend to feel really long, especially being stuck inside with busy toddlers! In this episode we share our ideas as well as your submissions on how we are leaning into this winter and finding joy! We also share some of the ways we are keeping ourselves and our toddlers busy during these winter months!
Together we came up with a few important things we've learned since becoming moms. If you're an expecting first time mother, we hope these thoughts are helpful as you enter motherhood! (If you know a pregnant mama, send this her way!)
For those who already have experienced first time motherhood, we hope you can reflect with us and relate with the things we chat about in this fun episode!
The tasks of getting to church on time with littles, keeping them reverent and entertained during sacrament meeting, AND somehow finding a peaceful moment to hear any of the messages being shared can feel nearly impossible in some phases of young motherhood. We asked you for your best tips to help calm the chaos that sometimes becomes our Sundays with young kids. We also asked 'why it is worth all the effort?' Tune in for the answers YOU gave as well as some insights from Emily and Katie.
We were so excited to have our cute friend Hailey on this episode with us! We chat about the birth of her 2 babies and how those experiences lead her to become a doula. She shares great tips and insights for other moms and future moms. If you're anything like us and love chatting about birth, you will love this one!
In this weeks episode we chat about some simple yet intentional ways we can try to make the often mundane days of motherhood more holy.
In this weeks episode we chat about goal settings as moms. We go over our word for the year and some goals we have each set for 2025 in hopes that other moms might be able to relate to the things we are currently prioritizing as young moms who are trying our best to follow Jesus Christ.
Welcome to truly innate!
We are two young moms looking to build a community of like minded women who are committed to raising our littles in a Christ centered home.
We hope these conversations can help strengthen our faith and confidence as we chat about all things motherhood through the lens of faith and friendship.
We believe that the capacity to be a mother is God given, and truly innate!
